My name is Amy Stevens, and Lake Forest is my home. I am a District 4 mom, homeowner, and community advocate running for City Council because local government should be practical, responsive, and grounded in the everyday needs of residents.
With more than 20 years of experience helping organizations communicate clearly, solve problems, and navigate complex issues, I am ready to bring a steady, solutions-first approach to public service.

Safe streets start with getting the basics right. I’ll prioritize well-maintained roads, practical solutions to neighborhood traffic and speeding, and a balanced approach to e-bike safety that combines education, clear rules, and appropriate enforcement.
Lake Forest should be a place where neighborhoods are well cared for and local businesses can thrive. I’ll focus on caring for our trees and landscaping, well-maintained parks and public spaces, and attracting the restaurants, shops, and services our community wants.
